New school in the mix for Womble

Sierra Vista (Ariz.) Buena running back Jamal Womble had two official visits canceled in the last week. He'll likely take two more before making his decision and there is one school not too far from home now in the mix.
Womble, 5-11, 220 pounds is the top power back in the West this year. He had a big senior season despite playing on a team that won just three games all season and really elavated his stock to be mentioned with the top backs in the country.

The athlete has already taken official visits to Boston College and North Carolina with the Tar Heels holding a solid lead right now.
"I was supposed to be visit Wisconsin and then Nebraska but both were canceled," Womble said. "Wisconsin said they're basically done taking running backs and Nebraska canceled all the visits they had for this past weekend.
"My next trip will be to South Carolina (Nov. 23) and then I'm going to visit Arizona State (Nov. 30). South Carolina has been on my list for awhile now and I'm really looking forward to the trip. I took an unofficial there in the summer and liked it a lot.
"As for ASU, I've been following them all season and I like how they have played. It's a good school with a good coaching staff and it only makes sense for me to give them a strong look.
"That visit will probably be my last, I don't think I'll take a 5th trip. I think after I visit ASU, I'll take some time to think over my decision and then commit later in the month or sometime in January."
