New school in mix for Jarrett

New Brunswick, N.J. athlete/wide receiver Dwayne Jarrett has a new school vying for his services these days.
"Rutgers is really pushing hard and I owe it to coach Schiano to take a look," said the 6-foot-5, 205-pounder. "I'll probably take an unofficial visit there sometime soon. I have Ohio State set for this weekend which will be my last official visit. My top two schools right now are still Virginia and Southern Cal, but staying close to home is starting to seem more important."

Boston College will be in Jarrett's school today as well, pushing for an unofficial visit. Southern Cal and Virginia will also be in his school today.
"It's been busy," he said. "I might wait until the very end to announce and decide. I want to make sure I'm making the right decision. I loved USC, but it's so far away, Virginia is nice and the coaches really want me there and Ohio State is funny. Coach Tressel told me that the whole city will love me and they need me so badly."
USC head coach Pete Carroll will do an in-home visit with Jarrett on Jan. 21 while Virginia head coach Al Groh will be in on Jan. 24.
Jarrett is ranked as the No. 2 athlete in the country by Rivals.com.
