New school enters picture for Tampa RB

Tampa (Fla.) Chamberlain running back Jordan Wilson took his second official visit last week when he traveled to Manhattan, Kan., to see Kansas State. Plans to take an official trip to Florida Atlantic may have been pushed aside by a new school entering the mix.
"Iowa State called tonight and offered me a scholarship," the 5-foot-10, 185-pound Wilson said. "They said they are very interested in me coming to play for them. They want me to come up and visit this weekend.

"I am leaning toward going there this weekend. Florida Atlantic was wanting me to come in there this week and visit, but I am looking at going to Iowa State instead."
Wilson returned home from Kansas State last week without an offer, but hoped that one could come by mid-week.
"Coach (Michael) Smith called me today and he didn't think they would be offering me a scholarship. I'm not sure why, but if they change their mind, my decision won't be made until after this weekend is over."
Wilson has scholarship offers from Eastern Kentucky and Florida Atlantic having already tripped to Eastern Kentucky (Jan. 14).
"I'm looking forward to this weekend when I visit Iowa State," he said. "After that I'll have a better idea of where I am going and I'll know who all is willing to put scholarship offers on the table for me."
