New school courting Roberts

Running back Jordan Roberts of Madison (W.V.) Scott still holds offers from Army, Northern Illinois and several Division II schools but he may be on the verge of receiving his biggest yet.
The 5-foot-11, 210-pound running back performed well in the Max Emfinger International All-American Bowl Game Classic recently and helped his stock with at least one school.

"Kansas has been interested since that game," Roberts said. "In that game I played against a guy that's been verbally committed to them. He told their coaches about me and they've been interested since.
"One of their assistant coaches was talking about how they need a running back. I'll probably take a visit to Kansas and one to Northern Illinois before I commit."
Roberts runs the 40-yard dash in 4.46 seconds and is a versatile athlete. He said he would be willing to make a switch to defensive back in college if it means he gets on the field.
"West Virginia had a recruiter come by the school on Tuesday. That's a real good program.
"I'm not really sure when I'll make my decision but I'd like to make it soon. I just have to make sure I find the right school."
