New Orleans TE comes full circle

New Orleans Jesuit two-star tight end Chris Brown has come full circle. After committing early in the recruiting process to Tennessee, Brown decided it was smart to take other recruiting trips to Indiana, Tennessee, Florida and then finally Auburn. He’s finally come up with an ultimate decision.
"I'm going to Tennessee,” Brown, who is 6-foot-3 and 235 pounds, said. “It came down to Auburn and Tennessee. Auburn was real close and I fit in perfectly there but Tennessee was the best fit for me. I'm glad to have it all in the past so I can sleep better tonight.”

Jesuit coach Vic Eumont said Brown should be a great player for the Vols.
"He has great leaping ability and lower body strength," Eumont said. "He has great hands and is an excellent blocker. He started for us as a sophomore at linebacker but was just too valuable as a tight end.
"He's played football and basketball non-stop. There's no telling how much bigger he's going to get once he concentrates on just football. He really hasn't utilized the weight room like he will in college. He's a real sharp kid and will work hard at whatever he does."
