Berry, who is 6-foot and 225 pounds, is now committed to CU.
"He made the call yesterday," Walker caoch Frank Wilson said.
"It's a good fit for him since they are looking for guys that can play MIKE linebacker and that's exactly what Travis is. He's a great inside linebacker that gets to the call.
"He knew what he wanted to do and it's will allow him to worry about other stuff now."
Berry is ranked as the nation's No. 32 inside linebacker and the No. 27 player overall in Louisiana.
He was also had offers from LSU, West Virginia and Vanderbilt, but it was Colorado, West Virginia and Vanderbilt that were recruiting him the hardest the past few months.
