New offers for Bond

At 6-foot-7 and 330-pounds, it was only a matter of time until more offers started rolling in for offensive tackle Travis Bond. What's new with the Windsor (N.C.) Bertie rising senior?
Coaches from Maryland, Michigan and North Carolina all paid visits to Bertie to check out the talented prospect this spring. He came away with two new offers.

"Michigan and Maryland offered me, but that's about it for right now," he said. "I don't have any favorites right now. This summer I'm probably going to go to five or ten one-day camps but I'm not sure where yet."
He said he gets along with coaches from all of the schools that have recruited him so far. Michigan and Maryland join schools like North Carolina, NC State, South Carolina and East Carolina to have offered Bond.
Right now he's just working hard to improve his game for his final high school season.
"Right now I'm just trying to stay in shape," he explained. "I'm just working on getting my stance right and everything like that."
Bond runs the 40-yard dash and also boasts a 3.0 grade point average.
