New offers come for QB Young

New offers have come in for Washington (D.C.) H.D. Woodson quarterback Ricardo Young. The latest scholarships come from the Big East for the 6-foot-1, 170-pounder.
"Connecticut offered me and I added an offer from Louisville too," he said. "I like the Connecticut and Louisville offer. Connecticut's got a new offensive coordinator and they are running a new system, switching to a spread, up-tempo offense. It should be interesting.

"I want to see the players within the offense and basically how the offense is really run. I'm thinking about a visit to UConn on the 18th."
Aside from Connecticut, two other schools are expected to get visits from Young soon.
"I'm going to West Virginia I believe next week and then Virginia Tech on April 25th."
A variety of schools are also still very interested, but haven't pulled the trigger.
"Louisville has talked about offering, Rutgers, Illinois, Virginia and Miami wants me to come down and meet Coach Shannon before they offer. I told them I might. I'll probably try to visit a number of the schools this summer."
Young maintains no favorites at this time.
"I can't name favorites, but I'm real high on West Virginia and Virginia Tech."
Young accounted for nearly 3,900-yards of offense and 42 touchdowns as a junior last season.
