New offer, new visit for Cali safety

Not too many players have seen their stock rise more this year than Long Beach Poly (Calif.) defensive back Herman Davidson. The talented safety received another big offer this week and wasted no time setting up a visit.
Davidson, 6-3, 215 pounds is a very impressive player physically and has looked great on the field this season. In the Jackrabbits 2-0 win (not a typo) over Orange Lutheran (Calif.) last weekend in CIF semi-final game, Davidson might have been the best player on the field.

He had several huge hits, is always around the ball and has good speed for a big safety. Davidson has already visited North Carolina and Michigan and has set his third visit for late January.
"Miami just offered me and I'm going to visit there (Jan. 18)," Davidson said. "That's a big offer and I was real excited about. I'm also close to setting a date with Colorado, just to find out when the best weekend will be.
"I'm also finally getting interest from my first Pac 10 school, Arizona State. They haven't offered yet but they told me they're very interested."
We love Davidson's upside and feel he's a player who can stay at safety or bulk up in to a linebacker. He's a physical player who loves to hit and is a plus athlete as well.
