New offer, new leader for Anthony

There is no question Chandler (Ariz.) defensive back Marc Anthony is quickly establishing himself as one of the top corner prospects in the West region. Anthony has several offers on the table already and picked up a huge one from one of the nation's true heavyweight programs earlier today.
Anthony, 6-0, 185 pounds has seen his stock sky rocket in the past months. Utah was his first offer and the Utes were quickly changed by several other schools including Washington, Boise State, Arizona State, Wyoming, Oregon State, San Diego State, Washington State, Illinois and Colorado.

Now you can add Big 10 power Michigan to the list.
"I camped at Michigan today and Coach Carr offered me before I left," an excited Anthony said. "I've been pointing to this camp for awhile now, basically ever since I talked to Coach English back in May. He told me they liked me a lot but just wanted to see a few more things from me and if I camped with them, there was a good chance I would leave with an offer.
"My step dad and I arrived yesterday around 4:00 and did our own tour of the campus and the stadium. I couldn't believe it when I saw the stadium. I've never seen anything like that before. That place holds over 100,000 people, I couldn't believe it when I was there.
"Afterwards, we went down to the athletic office and I met up with Coach English and he showed me around the campus a little bit more and talked to me about the camp. This morning, the camp started around 8:00 and from there, we did a lot of one on ones, 7 on 7 and a lot of other cover drills. It was fun because Coach English was helping out in my group the whole time and I really learned a lot from him.
"I thought I did really well and had a good day. They also timed me at a 4.59 electronically in the 40, which I think they liked because Coach English said the one thing he didn't know about me was how fast I was. Like I said, I thought I did good out there and then when the camp was over, Coach Carr told me to follow him in to his office.
"At the time, I was thinking and hoping it could be about offering me and when we sat down, he told me they were offering me a scholarship. I was totally speechless and didn't know what to say. All that would come out was, 'thank you.' Right now, I'm still planning on taking some more visits, unofficial and official, but Michigan is definitely on top, they're my favorite school right now, no question.
"My mom and I are going to sit down and plan the rest of my visits. I want to take some unofficial trips to some of the schools that haven't offered me yet. Cal, Oregon and Arizona are a few I'm looking at. Then I still plan to take all five of my official visits. I don't know where yet because I have a lot of schools I'm looking at. Other than Michigan, I really like Colorado, Boise State, Oregon State, ASU, Illinois and San Diego State.
"I don't know if I'll be able to take all five but I want to, that's my goal. I know they get tiring and I also know that if I take too long to decide, some of the schools could fill up so I'm just play it by ear and see how it goes."
