New offer for 2014 ATH

Junior athlete Juwann Winfree of Englewood (N.J.) Dwight Morrow recently picked up his fifth offer from an ACC school and is also receiving interest from a number of new schools. Winfree also hopes to hit the road this spring and summer, and is already preparing himself for his senior season.
"Recruiting has been going great," said Winfree. "I've picked up an offer from Maryland and a few new schools are interested, such as Notre Dame, Michigan, Alabama and Miami."

Winfree gave some additional information on his newest offer.
"I received that last weekend, and they finally came to the decision and told my coach, then spoke with my parents," said Winfree. "I'm excited. I've been waiting patiently for this offer. They're one of my favorite schools. They also want me on offense, which is nice."
It has also been very busy at his high school recently, with Wisconsin, Miami, Michigan, Rutgers, Notre Dame and UConn all stopping by.
When it comes to visits, Winfree is eager to hit the road but does not have any specific plans set yet. He does have at least one school he hopes to visit.
"I wanna get up to West Virginia," he said. "They invited me to their junior day."
Besides dealing with his recruiting process, Winfree will look to stay busy in other ways too.
"I plan to continue training at the gym I go to, run track and I also have a 7-on-7 tournament in February," he said. "I want to improve my strength and speed, but mainly my strength because I don't feel I'm where I should be physically as of now."
Winfree finished his junior season with 35 tackles and two forced fumbles on defense, and approximately 1,000 all-purpose yards, six touchdown, including two kickoff returns and 20 receptions.
