New offer comes for three-star RB

Three-star running back Elijah Hughes picked up a new offer recently. The Elizabeth, N.J. claims a pair of new schools have started to pick up interest as well. However, is the 5-foot-8, 170-pounder taking any visits yet?
"I've been offered by Akron for football and track," he said. "I'm excited about that one.

"I'm also getting heavily recruited by Miami and Georgia Tech, those are two new schools that are recruiting me. They are both interested and want game film."
Hughes holds three other offers from Kansas, Kansas State and Towson, are visits coming?
"I'm honestly waiting until after football season to see how it plays out," he said. "I don't want to get my list down and then more schools are in contact. I want to wait, then sit down with the coaches and find the best school in my path. I'm just waiting right now."
Hughes noted that there are no favorites.
"I don't really have any favorites," he said. "The schools that are in contact and have offered, I like them, but I'm very open.
"I'm looking for a real good campus and somewhere without much drama around it. I'm a city kid, but where I'm from there is a lot of trouble. I'm trying to get away from here, I'm trying not to stay close to home."
Hughes and Elizabeth have opened with a 3-0 record to start the year.
"I'm doing well, I'm just giving the team all I've got and I ran for 105-yards in a sloppy ball game on eight carries this past Friday," he said. "I'm seeing a big improvement from the workouts I did over the summer.
"I'm looking at film as a coach to see how I'd stop myself and find counter tactics."
