New offer comes for Hoffpauir

Zach Hoffpauir could have a big spring ahead of him since so many programs are showing interest and the Peoria (Ariz.) Centennial safety just picked up another offer from Air Force.
The 5-foot-11, 195-pound prospect who also has offers from Toledo and Montana said there is definitely interest in the Falcons even though he hasn't talked much with the coaching staff yet.

"There is definitely serious consideration because of the school and how good the education is plus the football team and I like Colorado," Hoffpauir said. "There is definitely consideration with them.
"I haven't had a lot of communication with them yet. I think they've talked to my head coach a lot and they've gotten some kids from Centennial to go there before and I think they saw my highlights and they liked it. They had a good idea of who I was before."
The next month could be big for Hoffpauir, who said Oregon, Stanford, Oregon State, Arizona, Arizona State, Duke, Penn State and now Louisville are showing interest. Coaches are supposed to stop by his school and maybe more offers will start coming in after they see him work out.
In his junior season, Hoffpauir finished with 25 receptions for 372 yards and five touchdowns. He finished with 73 tackles at safety. Penn State, USC and Oregon are his three early favorites but at this point in his recruitment Hoffpauir said he's open to all programs.
"As of now it's mostly the same schools," Hoffpauir said. "Once spring ball starts we'll see and hopefully I'll get a few offers. We'll see what happens. I was told that happens a lot when coaches come out to see you. Hopefully, it will be pretty busy."
