Rashad Knight landed a huge scholarship offer earlier today. It was so big that this team is now his leader.
"Michigan offered me today," Knight said. "My coach let me know. They called and offered. Then, I got home and it was in the mail. I always liked Michigan. One of my favorite players is Desmond (Howard). Since (Rich) Rodqiguez has gotten they have really recruited Florida hard. I like the coaches. I would say they are my leader at this point. I will try and get there this summer. I will go see a few colleges like Illinois and Michigan. This is a big one for me."
Knight now has scholarship offers from Michigan, Illinois, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Indiana and others. Knight, from Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian Academy, is one of the top cornerback prospects from the state of Florida.
So if the Wolverines are his current leader who else does he like?
"Michigan, Illinois, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, and Louisville would be my top five. They have all offered. I also really like Florida State. They have not offered me yet. They want to see my come to their camp this summer."
