New Name Rising In Virginia
A rising name in the recruiting world is Fork Union Military Academy (Va.) defensive end/ tight end Gaines Adams.
“Gaines is getting interest from a few good schools,” said Fork Union head coach John Shuman. “He has offers from North Carolina, Clemson and Michigan State. Those are the schools he seems most interested in.”

Gaines stands 6-foot-6 and weighs in at 240 pounds. Shuman says he’s very agile for his size.
“He runs between a 4.9 and 5.0,” he said of Adams’ 40-yard dash time. “He’s very quick for his size. He’s getting more and more interest every day.”
Gaines will take visits to all three of his favorites.
