New Level camp highlights linemen
The second annual New Level Athletics Elite Lineman Challenge hits Rutgers on Saturday and Sunday, with a number of top regional talent hoping to make a statement. Atop this list is defensive tackle Eddie Goldman of Washington (D.C.) Friendship Collegiate Academy, who is already topping the 40-offer mark.

Goldman, 6-foot-4 and 307 pounds, began to put his name on the recruiting radar last year at numerous camps and will look to further enhance his place as one of the top defensive tackles in the country this weekend. Goldman was one of the top performers at the Ridell All-American Camp last weekend, so he is definitely not shying away from competition despite the offers. However, Goldman wasn't as dominant last weekend as he has been at past events so look for him to show out this weekend, which could be bad news for offensive linemen.
Joining Goldman along the defensive line this weekend will be Michael Moore of Hyatsville (Md.) DeMatha. Moore has seen his recruitment explode in the last few weeks and is currently inching towards 20 offers. Similar to Goldman, Moore is also not shying away from competition, as he is also slated to appear at the NUC/Rivals.com Five-Star Showcase in New Jersey on March 12.
Trying to make a name for themselves at the event are several intriguing defensive linemen. Three of these are Jonathan Kinslow of local Piscataway, N.J., Kavon Johnson of Plymouth Meeting (Pa.) Plymouth Whitemarsh and Jamil Pollard of West Deptford (N.J.). Kinslow may lack the height at 6-foot, 271 pounds, but he has a non-stop motor and shows great strength. Johnson is another relentless interior lineman, who has the potential to make some heads turn during the camp circuit, while Pollard has the size, 6-foot-5 and 280 pounds, and the athletic ability that college coaches crave.
Bear (Del.) Red Lion Christian Academy defensive end Kenny Bigelow and defensive tackle Khaliel Rodgers are two 2013 prospects to keep an eye on if they attend.
On the offensive side of the ball J.J. Denman of Fairless Hills (Pa.) Pennsbury has become one of the more sought after linemen in the region. Nearing 15 offers, Denman has great feet and technique for a player with a 6-foot-7 and 305-pound frame. Also from the Keystone State comes Adam DePietro of Lancaster (Pa.) Catholic. DePietro has gradually seen more interest come his way, and recently picked up his first offer from Northwestern.
Ryan Brodie of Long Branch (N.J.) is still on the lean side at 6-foot-5 and 260 pounds, but has a frame that should easily handle much more size. He has shown great athletic ability, and shined at a few events during his sophomore year.
Also hoping to impress this weekend are several local players, including teammates Errol McCarthy and Nick Golz of Wayne (N.J.) DePaul, Lakai Robinson of Haddonfield (N.J.) Paul VI and Tyler Samra of Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep. Another out-of-state recruit who has turned some heads is Fred Santarelli, who performed well last week at the Ridell All-American Camp and should start to grab more attention due to his 6-foot-7, 315 pound frame.
Bear (Del.) Red Lion Christian Academy offensive lineman Isiah Johnson is also expected to participate and with his 6-foot-5, 290-pound frame he is sure to get D-I looks.
