New leader for Gedin
Heading into his most recent official visit, Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga linebacker Kory Gedin had a clear leader. Now things have changed a bit.
"I really liked North Carolina," said the 6-foot-2, 233-pounder. "I liked the facilities and I felt more comfortable with the school in general than I did at BC. I just got a feeling. They're right at the top right now."

Gedin hung out with a couple of UNC players and got to see quite a bit of what college life is like at Chapel Hill.
"I stayed in a nice hotel and when I got there I met with the strength and conditioning coach and a coach that handles the players affairs and I enjoyed that," he said. "Then we ate dinner and I went out with (running back) Rikki cook and Dexter Reid and the the next day I met with the academic people. I then had meetings with the linebackers coach and coach Bunting then had dinner at coach Bunting's house. It was a great visit."
Did he think about a commitment?
"I thought about committing at both BC and North Carolina, but these official visits are showing me that I need to take them all," he said. "I have Vanderbilt on Jan. 10 and Northwestern on Jan. 17. and I'll decide the week after my last trip."
