Paramus (N.J.) Catholic defensive tackle Marquise Wright took his third official visit over the weekend and it went so well he's ready to name a new favorite.
Last weekend Wright took an official visit to North Carolina and left Chapel Hill saying the Tar Heels were his top school.
This weekend Wright was at Michigan State, and for the second consecutive week he has a new favorite.
"It was good," Wright said of his official to Michigan State. "I enjoyed myself. I had a real good time.
"The facilities are top notch. The stadium is beautiful and the coaching staff is great."
How would Michigan State compare to UNC after both visits?
"Michigan State definitely stood out a little bit more," he admitted. "I just think overall I felt it was a better fit for me. They're definitely number one."
Despite that Wright said he didn't think about committing to the Spartans while he was in East Lansing.
Wright has talked about visiting other schools, such as Miami and Rutgers, before Signing Day. He doesn't know exactly what he's going to do right now.
"As far as visits go I don't know yet. Me and my coaches are still trying to figure that out."
The 6-foot-3, 265-pound prospect is ranked the No. 6 defensive tackle in the nation by Rivals.com.
