New leader for Campbell

The most recent scholarship offer for Rivals250 offensive tackle Daniel Campbell has shifted his thoughts about a favorite school.
The 6-foot-6, 320-pound Campbell already held an impressive list of scholarship offers going into this last week. Schools such as LSU, Florida, Oklahoma, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech had sent him offers. The most recent one came from the Pac-10 and that school has taken hold of the top spot.

"The most recent offer I got was USC," Campbell said. "I haven't gotten it in the mail yet, but my coach told me that he talked to their coaches. That's the one I've been waiting for. I'm very excited about that one."
LSU held the lead for Campbell for some time. Now, it appears that the Trojans, with an offer, are the new favorite.
"LSU is still up there with me, but USC is looking pretty good," Campbell said. "I think USC is on top right now. It's just that USC is known for winning championships and that's what I want to do."
Regardless of his current favorites, Campbell will not be rushing a decision. He says that the next trips he has set are for this summer. The Houston-area prospect says he'll be heading to summer camps at USC, Texas, and LSU.
"I'm going to wait probably until the day before Signing Day or on Signing Day to make my decision," he said. "I don't want to make this big decision right now unless something comes up."
