New leader for Augusta

Peoria, Ill. - Defensive lineman Josh Augusta's top four has held steady for the last couple months, but the order of those schools has changed over that time. On Saturday, the Peoria High product detailed the order of his favorites.
"My leader right now goes Mizzou, then Michigan State, Illinois and Oklahoma," Augusta reported. "I like [Missouri's] academics, really."

Augusta has not taken any unofficial game visits yet this fall, but he expects to set a few visits over the next several weeks and has an Oct. 13 date in Columbia scheduled.
"I know I am going to Mizzou to watch them and Alabama," Augusta said. "And I am trying to get down to Oklahoma to see what they are about."
Those trips should be key to Augusta's final college decision, which is expected to come before his senior season is complete.
"It will probably be this fall, around October or November," Augusta said.
The 6-foot-5, 300-pound Augusta lined up at defensive tackle on Saturday, but also saw plenty of action on offense at tight end and wide receiver. The defensive side of the football is where he is expected to play in college, however.
"I think both d-tackle or defensive end I'll be real good at," Augusta said. "My strengths I think are my speed and my athleticism."
