Position: Quarterback
Size and speed: Teel is 6-foot-4 and weighs 208 pounds. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.8 seconds.
Statistics: Teel completed 117 of 179 passes for 2,159 yards and 28 touchdowns. He threw just six interceptions.
Favorite schools: Penn State, Maryland, Virginia, Rutgers, Boston College, Iowa, Michigan.
Skinny: Teel is arguably the best quarterback in the state of New Jersey for 2004 and has a very accurate arm to go along with smarts and good athletic ability. He has the size of a D-1 quarterback and a strong arm.
Teel attended junior day at Boston College a few weeks back.
"It was good, I learned a lot about the school and the program," he said. "I'm hoping to camp there this summer for at least a day. I'm not sure where else I'll camp, but I want to get around to a few."
Teel already has an offer from Rutgers and should have a few more by the time summer camps roll around. He doesn't have a favorite right now.
"I like the staff at Rutgers and I've always liked the Big 10," he said. "I'm going to remain open and see who offers me."
