New Jersey WR Has Top Choice

Glassboro, N.J. wide receiver Terrance Holmes is one of the state’s top three wide receivers. His combination of speed and good hands has many schools ringing his phone this season.
“I’m getting calls from a lot of different teams,” the 5-foot-10, 170-pounder. “I’m getting calls from Georgia, Georgia Tech, Syracuse, Tennessee, Pitt, North Carolina, NC State, Rutgers and some others.”

Holmes has offers from Georgia, Georgia Tech, Syracuse, Rutgers and Pitt and currently has a slight favorite.
“I like Georgia Tech a little better than the rest because I’ve seen how they like to throw the ball by watching them on TV,” he said. “I haven’t really been anywhere so I’m looking forward to my visits.”
Through six games, Holmes has more than 500 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns. His 4.4-second speed in the 40-yard dash allows him to break away from defenders.
“I like to think that when I’m in the open, I’m gone.” He said.
Holmes lists Georgia Tech, Georgia, Syracuse, Tennessee, North Carolina and NC State as teams he’ll take a long look at.
