New Jersey OL To Decide Soon

One of the top offensive linemen in New Jersey and on the east coast has his choices narrowed to three schools and a decision should be coming sometime in early July. Gordie Sammis from Somerville (N.J.) Immaculata is almost ready to make his choice.
"I visited Pittsburgh this past weekend and I really enjoyed it, I had a great visit. It's going to be a tough decision when the time comes." Said the 6-foot-5, 290-pounder.

The three lucky schools at this time are Rutgers, Virginia and Pittsburgh. He will visit Virginia one more time and he will be attending the Rutgers camp starting on June 23.
"I just want to make another visit to Virginia and I'll be at Rutgers again next week. I feel comfortable at all three schools so it's going to be a tough choice. I know that Rutgers is going to keep some big name players in New Jersey again this year and that's important."
Sammis had 60 pancake blocks as a junior and was named parochial all-state, all-county, all-area and all-conference. He has offers from more than 10 different schools.
