Princeton Junction (N.J.) West Windsor Plainsboro South offensive tackle Zachary Hundertmark has been a busy young man lately.
The 6-foot-5, 275-pound athletic lineman from the Garden State recently took visits to three of the schools he has been hearing a lot from. One has offered and the other two have promised that they will be evaluating him well into his senior season.
How did those trips go for Hundertmark?
"I visited Louisville, Iowa and Purdue," he recalled. "Louisville went really good. They're really nice. The southern hospitality was nice, too. They're my only offer right now and I really liked it.
"Iowa ... same thing. The coach that's recruiting me actually recruited one of my coaches. He's a really nice guy. Purdue was the same way. They all had great facilities and I could see myself playing for any of them."
While Iowa and Purdue have not yet offered they told Hundertmark they want him to mail in his first three games of film so they can make a decision on whether to extend a scholarship.
Hundertmark said some schools, such as Rutgers and Purdue, are keeping open the possibility of bringing him in as a defensive lineman. He said he is still keeping an open mind and declined to list any favorites. He plans on waiting until at least some point later during his senior season before he starts thinking about making a decision.
