New Jersey corner holding out

Though East Carolina is the only school to offer to date New Jersey defensive back Ronald Baines appears content to hold out for as long as it takes, apparently waiting on several other schools that are showing interest.
Baines, a 6-foot, 179-pound corner from Vorhees (N.J.) Eastern, insists that he isn't holding out because he's not satisfied with East Carolina.

The Pirates have built a solid relationship with Baines over the course of the last few weeks and month. Baines even visited the ECU campus within the last month and had positive things to say about the trip the last time he spoke with Rivals.com. This week he continued to praise the Pirates.
"I like them a lot," he said of ECU. "It's a great school overall from what I've seen."
Baines is not, however, ready to settle on East Carolina. That could be a sign that he just wants to check out all of his options rather than making a hasty decision.
"I'm just trying to get some more offers going," he said. "I've heard from Akron, Bucknell, Tulane, Pitt, JMU and Temple.
"I'm going to JMU next week and then Akron and Bowling Green soon. They just want me to see the campuses and see what happens from there. I think they want to see what type of person I am."
Despite his desire to visit other schools Baines said he is hoping the recruiting process isn't drawn out for too long.
"Hopefully I'll decide before September if more (offers) come," he said, adding that he would be prepared to wait well into the fall if he does not pick up more offers.
