New interest for Sooner commit

Alabama and new head coach Nick Saban could be entering the mix for New Orleans (La.) O.P. Walker wide receiver Tyler Stradford, an Oklahoma commit.
The Crimson Tide has inquired about the 6-foot-2, 175-pounder in recent weeks.

"My coach said that (Alabama is interested)," Stradford said. "I'm thinking about visiting."
Oklahoma State also has been in touch.
Stradford did not make a scheduled official visit to Louisiana Tech this weekend. A coaching change in Ruston caused some signals to be crossed.
"He said he was going to set it up and they haven't ever set it up and I haven't heard from them," Stradford said.
Stradford will head to Southern Mississippi next weekend for an official.
"I've still got that set up," he said.
As for the Sooners, Stradford still considers himself a solid commit at this time.
"I'm probably going to end up there," he said. "I'm still strong on them."
Stradford runs the 100-meter dash in 10.5 seconds, committed to the Sooners after making an official visit to Norman, Okla., on the weekend of Dec. 15.
