New interest for Rosene

USC has reached out more often to Reno Rosene and the 2015 offensive tackle is especially excited since it's right down the road and he grew up a fan of the Trojans since childhood.
No offer has been discussed yet but the Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian standout said he has talked with interim coach Ed Orgeron and an offer from the Trojans would be huge.

"We've been to a few games this year," Rosene said. "I went to the Arizona game and I went to the Utah game. I went to two games and they've been excited. I talked to coach O on the phone and they said they're interested in me so that's good. Hopefully we'll see what happens this off-season.
"An offer would be cool. They've always been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. I grew up a Trojan fan."
So far, the 6-foot-5, 290-pound prospect who looked good during his junior season has been offered by Arizona State, Notre Dame, San Diego State, Vanderbilt and Washington State.
A group of other programs have also reached out with the help of his coaches at Oaks Christian and Rosene's recruitment could pick up at any time. It's a wide and varied group so offers could be coming from a lot of places.
"My coaches have been talking to a lot of colleges," Rosene said.
"He said he's in communication with Oklahoma and SC as well. They said they're really looking at me. He was talking to Miami, too, and the same with Washington. There are a lot of schools especially in the Pac-12."
Many other programs have reached out in the last two years since Rosene popped up on the national scene. Vanderbilt is his newest offer.
