New interest for Luatua

Tyler Luatua has said for a long time that Alabama and USC are his two favorites but the 2014 tight end from La Mirada, Calif., is open to all other programs as well.
With so much recruiting attention so early, the 6-foot-4, 230-pound four-star prospect does not want to limit his options but the Crimson Tide and Trojans remain high on his list.

"He loves Alabama and USC but he's told me and his family told me they're open to anything," La Mirada coach Mike Moschetti said.
"Those two schools they really like. USC is USC and Alabama he has his brother there but it's not a done deal. He's open to anything."
About a week ago, Florida started to get in contact with Luatua and a coach from Notre Dame is expected at La Mirada next week.
Luatua, who has attended a few USC games this season, has been mainly worrying about school and football this season so his recruitment really hasn't taken any serious shape yet.
Moschetti said his star tight end has been trying to contact the Florida coaches but has been unsuccessful so far.
"It's the same guys that keep in contact with him," Moschetti said.
"About a week and a half ago the tight ends coach from Florida called. He's focused on school and football though. I know they've been playing phone tag so Florida was trying to get a hold of him."
So far, the 2014 prospect lists offers from Alabama, Arizona State, Arkansas, Cal, Colorado, Florida State, Miami, Michigan, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, UCLA, USC, Utah, Vanderbilt and Washington State.
