New Hampshire DT gaining notice

The state of New Hampshire insn't exactly fertile ground when it comes to football recruiting. However, Macnhester (N.H.) Memorial defensive tackle/offensive guard Jason Gagnon is hearing from some very impressive programs early in the recruiting process.
"Boston College, Syracuse, UConn and Nebraska are sending the most mail," said the 6-foot-2, 275-pounder. "Mississippi State has also been sending me letters every week which is interesting. It's always cool to see who has heard about a New Hampshire kid."

Despite the interest from Nebraska and Mississippi State, Gagnon admits that if a local school were to offer him, he'd likely commit.
"It would be tough to say no to Boston College or Syracuse," he said. "I've followed those programs a bit over the years, so I guess you'd say they're my favorites."
Gagnon feels his best position is defensive tackle, but he'll play wherever he's asked.
"I don't care, as long as I can contribute," he said. "I'll probably camp at Boston College this summer and maybe one more place and wherever they want to work me out is cool."
Gagnon has been named all-state the last two years.
