New four-stars outside the Rivals250

Barnes is a big hitter at middle linebacker who can move into the box to stop the run or drop back in coverage to defend the pass. What's most impressive about Barnes is that versatility; he's great at timing up the run and then stuffing it behind the line of scrimmage or dropping back, reading the quarterback and then knocking down a pass or picking it off. Watch out if you're going across the middle against Barnes, too, because he can lower his shoulder and take people out.

OLB
Cameron Brown
Potomac (Md.) Bullis School
Brown is a physical freak and his abilities make him difficult to handle. He has great height and length and can really cover ground quickly. Brown could be destined for defensive end depending on how he develops, but he could really be a difference-maker at either position because of his ability to flow to the ball and rush the passer. Brown's instincts could be better, but they will improve as he continues to get solid coaching and more experience at the position.

DE
Josh Brown
Charlotte (N.C.) Mallard Creek
Last season, Brown played more of a hybrid role but because he has grown a couple inches it looks like he will be more of a full-time defensive end. His explosiveness off the edge and nose for the ball make him someone offenses have to scheme for. Brown seemed to make plays in big moments last year and that's something that is hard to teach. Brown fits in well as a defensive end and he could be a dominant player in college.

OG
Michael Eletise
Honolulu (Hawaii) Kaiser
The athletic lineman shined at the B2G Battlefield event last month in Los Angeles and has been a popular name on the recruiting trail in recent weeks. Hawaii produced some impressive prospects in the previous cycle -- including Canton Kaumatule and Fred Ulu-Perry -- and the 6-foot-4, 302-pound Eletise appears to be next in line. He showed solid upper body strength, stayed active with his lower half to stick with blocks and used his hands well at the point of attack. Eletise might be on the verge of adding scholarship offers to a list that already includes five Pac-12 programs, as well as Nebraska and Texas Tech.

ATH
David Long
Los Angeles (Calif.) Loyola
At wide receiver, Long plays with a lot of confidence and pizzazz and he's really fun to watch. He can go deep, burn cornerbacks and catch the long ball or take a short pass, dance around some defenders and gain extra yards. What I also like about Long is that he's an aggressive blocker. He doesn't just throw a hand out there. Long likes to open up holes for his teammates and he goes after defenders to block them. On defense, Long plays the same way. He can't wait to jam somebody at the line if that's called for. On deep passes, he can run with any receiver and does a great job closing and then making a play on the ball.

QB
Brandon McIlwain
Newtown (Penn.) Council Rock North
McIlwain is a very talented quarterback. His mechanics and footwork are very polished and he is very accurate. McIlwain has gotten taller and looks much more in shape that he did during his sophomore and junior years. That seems to have helped his arm strength and his downfield accuracy. His performance at the Rivals Quarterback Challenge and the Rivals Camp this offseason will go a long way to solidifying his four-star status or to proving he is a three-star quarterback.

ATH
Sewo Olonilua
Kingwood, Texas
Olonilua has a really nice blend of size and athleticism. He is being recruited as a running back, linebacker, and safety and it is easy to see why. At the Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 Showcase in Houston, he spent the day at safety and showed tremendous footwork and range. He also likes to get physical whether it's in coverage or making the tackle.

OLB
Keith Simms
Bethesda (Md.) Landon School
Simms is a disciplined, hard-hitting linebacker who has the speed to run with running backs sideline-to-sideline and is an asset in coverage. He has good instincts and stopped many plays before they got started. Simms is also a threat as a pass rusher and is a nightmare for offensive linemen trying to block him off the edge.
