New England RB makes choice

Milton (Mass.) Catholic Memorial running back L.V. Whitworth has made his decision. So will it be Vanderbilt or Boston College?
"He committed to Boston College yesterday," said the 6-foot-0, 218-pounder's sister, Bianca. "He decided he wanted to stay closer to home and BC had so much to offer."
Whitworth, who was also being recruited by Michigan, North Carolina and others, will play fullback at Boston College. He rushed for more than 1,300 yards as a senior and had a huge game against in-state power Xaverian Brothers High School with 370 yards on 16 carries and five touchdowns.
