New contender for Heygood
Chester (Pa.) Cardinal O'Hara running back Anthony Heygood has a new school to consider in addition to West Virginia and Purdue.
"Notre Dame offered Anthony last week," said Leslie Heygood, Anthony's mother. "He's always liked Notre Dame a lot and has been there twice, so that has added to the confusion a bit."

The Irish are not thick in the race for one of Pennsylvania's top players. However, can they overcome WVU and Purdue?
"We still need to sit down and compare the schools," his mother said. "We need to do the checklist and compare the pros and cons of each school. He liked Notre Dame early like I said, but he wasn't so happy that they hadn't offered. Now that they have, he'll consider them as well."
