New Big 12 interest for Schultz

Dalton Schultz has started to turn his focus to his junior season but the South Jordan (Utah) Bingham tight end is hearing some exciting things about interest from a Big 12 program.
Oklahoma is starting to show some interest in the 2014 prospect and it's definitely intriguing to Schultz, who already has four early offers.

"I talked with one of my coaches and he has some strong ties to Oklahoma and he said they're very interested," Schultz said.
"I'm not sure because I haven't spoken with Oklahoma directly but if it's true it sounds good to me."
So far, the 6-foot-5, 215-pound prospect has landed offers from BYU, Cal, Colorado and Utah and many other programs are getting involved.
Schultz has shown a lot of interest in Stanford and even visited there this summer but the Cardinal have not offered yet.
At this point since it's so early, Schultz said he's more focused on a big junior season, contributing to his team and then seeing which other teams might get more involved in his recruitment later on.
"I didn't get an offer from Stanford but everything is all right," Schultz said.
"We just got back from our high school football camp. I spent my 16th birthday down there and then we start our conditioning next week. Everything is high school now and I'm focused there.
"It's kind of nice not to worry about the whole recruiting thing. I'm still calling all my coaches and keeping in touch but it's definitely good to finally get back to high school football and bonding with my team and hanging with my friends."
