New Big 10 interest for McKinley

Javon McKinley had two touchdowns including an 85-yarder in Corona (Calif.) Centennial's big victory over Long Beach (Calif.) Poly last weekend and he's excited about the high-octane offense moving forward.
"I was very happy with the way I played," McKinley said. "I think I came out here and executed well coming back last week from a fumble.

"After the first week we really brought it back together and we regrouped and we executed everything. We practiced and we came out here and we played."
The 2016 four-star receiver from Corona Centennial has already landed offers from Arizona State and Washington and he hopes to get out and see a Sun Devils' game soon.
Another trip to Washington at this point is undecided but McKinley definitely wants to take an unofficial visit to ASU soon. No dates have been determined at this point.
"I've just been talking to them back-and-forth on Twitter," McKinley said of the Arizona State coaches. "I'm looking forward to getting out there sometime to see a game and see the campus and all that.
"It was a really comfortable feel (at Washington). I went up there and all the coaches knew me and liked me. I had a good feeling. I saw the campus and it was really nice."
McKinley, a 6-foot-2, 196-pound four-star recruit who's rated as the No. 28 wide receiver in the 2016 class by Rivals.com, said he was surprised by Arizona State's offer. He landed Washington during a trip to summer camp.
Northwestern has started to show legitimate interest but other than that the Corona Centennial prospect said things have been going slowly in his recruitment.
"I talked to a recruiter (Friday) about my interest in them," McKinley said.
