Neverdon starting to accumulate offers

Offers are starting to come in for Towson (Md.) Calvert Hall 2014 athlete Russell Neverdon. The 5-foot-7, 165-pounder claims three scholarships at this time, but believes more may be on the way.
"Robert Morris, Youngstown State and Toledo have offered," he said. "Once the offseason starts, I might have ones from Connecticut, Boston College, Cincinnati and Maryland.

"They really just want to see my film, then they're going to offer me."
Does Neverdon like anyone?
"I really like Cincinnati and I'm talking to Pittsburgh," he said. "Once either of them offer, I may think about going there.
"I actually visited Cincinnati and they have a nice environment there. They are showing me a lot of love and I liked it up there. With Pittsburgh, they have reached out and care about me. They have invited me to every game this year, I like that."
Neverdon plans to make some visits in the not too distant future, likely to Pittsburgh, Temple, Connecticut and Boston College.
So, what does he want in a school?
"I'm looking for someone who treats me like one of their players, not just to be on the team," he said. "I want somewhere that knows me be name and is looking out for me. I'm looking for a school with a really good education. I'm not planning on going to the NFL; I'm using football to get my education. I want to study medicine."
