On one of Johnson’s interceptions he brought it back 90 yards for momentum changing touchdown.
Johnson’s first offer was from Nevada. Since then he has picked up two more offers from hometown school UNLV and Colorado State.
“UNLV offered me a couple months ago and Colorado State came about two weeks ago,” Johnson said. “I’m not ready to commit to anyone.”
“I just started sending out my senior tape and I’m getting good feedback,” Johnson said. “I will probably decide on where I will take my trips by mid-November.”
Johnson’s phone has been ringing off the hook since September. He has received consistent phone calls from UCLA, Cal, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Boise State, Vanderbilt and the three schools that have already offered him Nevada, UNLV and CSU.
Johnson burst onto the scene way back in April when he stood out at the Nike Camp held in San Diego.
Johnson exploded at the camp with a 39-inch vertical jump. He also had an impressive showing at the adidas camp held in Westwood displaying outstanding skills.
Johnson is a young man whose best days are ahead of him.
One to watch over the next month.
