Garrett described Humphrey as a big, strong and physical back. "He can get the job done. He uses his size (6-2, 231) and his speed (4.40) to the best he can. He'll make a fine running back for the Hurricanes."
Humphrey has rushed for 217 yards on 45 carries in his back-up running back role this season. He has scored two touchdowns in NEO's six games.
