NEO defensive tackle makes pick
According to coach Dale Patterson of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, one of his standout defensive linemen has made up his mind. So who was the lucky team to land a commitment from three-star defensive tackle Charles Walker?
“Charles is heading to Tulsa,” Patterson said. “He visited there last weekend and really liked the direction the program is heading. It’s a good school and an even better fit for him. He’s from Beggs, Okla., originally, so it’s not going to be too far from home for him.”
Walker, who is 6-foot-2 and 288 pounds, originally signed with Missouri out of high school and was a highly recruited prospect.
