NEO DB makes pick

Miami (Okla.) Northeastern Oklahoma A&M J.C. two-star cornerback Adryan Adams went with the school that he felt most comfortable with.
After being recruited by Texas A&M, Kansas State, Kansas, Oklahoma State and Tulsa, the 6-foot-1, 185-pounder decided on Sunday to pull the trigger and head to North Texas.

"I was supposed to visit Texas A&M this weekend, but with the weather I couldn't make it," Adams said. "They were going to try to re-work it for some time later this weekend, but I kind of got tired of re-scheduling things and I picked the school that had recruited me the hardest from day one.
"North Texas has been recruiting me the longest. They were the school that offered me first and they came after me really hard. I just felt really close with the coaches when I went up there for my visit. They called me the most, and I had built a good relationship with them."
Adams, an honorable mention all-conference selection originally from Oklahoma City, Okla., said having a teammate – Kylee Hill – also committed to North Texas made the decision even easier.
"I know I'm going to feel right at home up there," Adams said. "Spencer Leftwich did a really good job of recruiting me. He's a really funny guy. I'm going to enjoy playing with coaches like that."
As a sophomore, Adams had 44 solo stops, 25 assists and one interception.
