Nelson takes second in-state trip
Sumter (S.C.) Crestwood safety Maurice Nelson made an official visit to South Carolina this past weekend despite rumors that he might not make the trip. How did it go?
"It was a good visit, I actually had a great time," said the 6-foot-2, 210-pounder. "I liked it as much as Clemson which is saying something and it made my decision that much harder."

Nelson, who has already been to Clemson, has an official visit to Maryland this upcoming weekend and a trip to Georgia set for Jan. 31.
"I at least want to see Maryland this weekend because they've always been high on my list," he said. "Right now Clemson is in the lead with South Carolina right behind. Maryland could get up there as well depending on the visit."
