Nelson has Big Ten and MAC offers

Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville quarterback Arvell Nelson moved into the starting lineup at the beginning of his junior season and established himself as a major college prospect by the end of it.
Recruiters like Nelson's size, 6-foot-5 and 180 pounds, as well as his athletic ability.

Nelson, who will drop into the pocket or work out of the shotgun formation, missed five games with cracked ribs, but still threw for 1600 yards and 13 touchdowns as Glenville won 12 of 14 games.
"I like Michigan, Syracuse, Iowa, Purdue, Ohio State, Eastern Michigan, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Bowling Green, and Kent State," Nelson said. "Eastern Michigan, Bowling Green, Michigan State, and Kent State offered me.
"I've been to junior days at Wisconsin and Michigan State. I probably liked Wisconsin better.
"My favorite school is Texas or Ohio State."
