Wichita Falls (Texas) Rider three-star receiver David Nelson took his first official visit since Notre Dame changed its coach staff. First up on the menu was Oklahoma State.
So how did the Cowboys compare to Notre Dame, the school that he’s still a soft commitment, too?
“I liked the players, and how they acted around each other,” Nelson, who is 6-foot-5 and 195 pounds, said.

“The coaches were really genuine and honest the whole time. The students were really geared up for the bowl game and the food was good.
“It was just overall a good time.”
But for Nelson it’s just pit-stop No. 1. Up next is Iowa, and Kansas State, Florida and Texas are also still on his list.
Texas A&M was in the running but the Aggies pulled out late last week when it received a commitment from a junior college receiver.
