Nebraska TE names top five

Omaha (Neb.) Central tight end Nate Prater has determined which five schools are at the top of his list.
“I would say my top five schools are Oklahoma, Michigan, Notre Dame, Kansas State and Kansas,” the 6-foot-4, 250-pound Prater said. “All of them have at least verbally offered or have talked about it depending on how my season starts off.

“Michigan has verbally offered. Kansas State and Kansas have offered me in writing. Notre Dame and Oklahoma want me to come to a game in September. They also want to see me in action in the first couple of games.”
Prater continues to plan on waiting until after some visits to make his choice.
“I want to take my visits this fall and then try and decide what is the best place for me.”
Central opens their season next Friday, Sept. 3, against cross-town rival Omaha North.
