Nebraska TE closer to setting trips
Omaha (Neb.) Westside two-star tight end Damon Bechtold has a scholarship offer from Colorado State, but after a strong senior season the 6-foot-4, 205-pounder hopes that more will now come in.
"I'm hearing a lot from Iowa State, TCU, Colorado State and a little bit still with Nebraska," Bechtold, the No. 8 player in Nebraska, said.

"I haven't set any officials up yet. I'll probably go to Colorado State. Then also Iowa State probably. I don't want to get to far away from home, but it's not a big factor."
Bechtold said he was pleased with how he played personally this season.
"Our season went fine," he said.
"We lost in the first round of the playoffs though. We lost a few games that we probably should have won. I feel like I played well."
