Nebraska recruit has good start

Small town Nebraska lineman (6-foot-5, 287 pounds) Cory Timm is still awaiting for his first offer, but feels he has gotten off to a good start in his football season, as Yutan High School, Nebraska has gone 2-1 so far.
Last season Timm earned all-conference honors and also honorable mention all-state as an offensive lineman.

"I have several teams around the midlands recruiting me right now," Timm said, "including Nebraska, Missouri, Colorado State, Wyoming and South Dakota. Right now I'm hearing the most from Nebraska, Colorado State and Wyoming."
"I'd say right now that Nebraska would be my leader," Timm said. What about Nebraska really catches your eyes? "Coaches Young and Tenopir are recruiting me and I get along well with them," Timm said, "and my brother also plays baseball for the Huskers."
"I'm looking to get into the medical field and I like their program," Timm added.
Timm has not planned any official visits yet, but he has a pretty good idea which teams he wants to see.
"Most likely my teams to visit will be Nebraska, Colorado State, Wyoming and Missouri," Timm said, "but I probably won't be able to make the visits until after football season is over." "However if Nebraska were to offer earlier, I would likely accept it," Timm added.
Cory also has some other goals for college. "Whichever school I go to, I am thinking about participating in track as a walkon," Timm said. "I would throw the shot put and discus."
He added he definitely would not walkon to a school as a football player.
