Nebraska OL heading to MAC

Omaha (Neb.) Millard North two-star offensive guard Brian Thorson took an official visit to Buffalo on Oct. 5. He loved his time on the visit and came back committed.
"I really liked the coaching staff and I liked the area," Thorson, who is 6-foot-3 and 274 pounds, said. "It was exactly what I was looking for. I felt like it was home for me. Turner Gill was really excited. He said I was their first offensive linemen they offered and they were happy with my commitment."

Thorson was also recruited by Colorado State, UConn, Iowa, Iowa state, Kansas State, Nebraska, Vanderbilt, Wisconsin and Ohio. He is now focused on helping his team win a state championship, and with a big state semifinal game against Millard West on the horizon.
"Last time we played them we had six turnovers and we were still in the game in the fourth quarter," Thorson said.
"If we eliminate mistakes and don't have turnovers, I think we're going to win the game. We've been playing really well lately, and we can't wait for the game on Saturday."
