Nebraska kicker looking for new interest
Hailing from a small town in Nebraska, kicker David Marcoe is starting to hear his name being called in the world of recruiting with only weeks until Signing Day.
Though no scholarship offers have been extended, the 6-foot-3, 235-pound special teams player has received some opportunities for walk-on spots and is looking into each one.

"It's hectic," Marcoe said. "I got into kicking late and that's why the offers have not come yet. Most are walk-ons but I believe that will change after my visits."
The walk-on opportunities have been extended by Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa State, and Buffalo among others. He is planning on checking out Nebraska and Kansas for visits.
"I like the tradition at those two schools and prefer those as the favorites right now," Marcoe said. "Iowa State is also in there as well as a team I like."
Marcoe says he'll take his visits and then make a decision near Signing Day.
"I'm excited," he said. "I'm really waiting for the visits to see what it's like."
