Nebraska fullback enjoys Colorado
Omaha (Neb.) Millard North fullback Jake Behrens is currently holding two scholarship offers. This weekend, the No. 4 rated player in Nebraska ventured on his first official visit.
“Jake called us a little earlier,” Behrens’ father said. “He is still in Colorado. He said the visit went well and he had a good time. They told him about how he would fit into their system and how much they were wanting him to be a part of their team.

“Jake also was able to sit down and talk with Coach (Gary) Barnett about the whole program and everything. He said that was a good talk.”
Despite the good time, Behrens has yet to make a decision.
“Jake really is no closer to a decision,” Mr. Behrens said. “He is really wanting to see who is going to be the new head coach at Stanford before any decisions are made. He is still planning to visit there next month (Jan. 7). Probably after that, he’ll make a decision.”
