Nebraska DE looking out of state

Scott McLaughlin, a defensive end from Omaha Millard West High School, plays today for the Nebraska Class A title against North Platte High School.
“Right now I have 66 tackles, 11 sacks, and 3 caused fumbles on the season,” McLaughlin said.

The 6-foot-3, 215 pound defensive end still has no offers, but he is getting letters and hearing from the University of North Dakota, North Dakota State, Nebraska-Omaha, Colorado State, Iowa State and Nebraska-Lincoln.
Iowa State has a slight lead for his services. “ISU is recruiting me the hardest. Mike Grant is recruiting me. Ames seems to be a really nice place,” McLaughlin said.
He will be setting up his official visits very soon.
