Nebraska commit visits Colorado

JoJo Domann committed to Nebraska in the summer but several schools continued their recruitment of the two-way standout.
The persistence paid off somewhat for in-state Colorado, which convinced Domann to officially visit campus the weekend before the dead period.

The three-star outside linebacker from Colorado Springs (Colo.) Pine Creek said he remained committed to the Cornhuskers following the trip to see the Buffaloes, but he was thankful to see what the nearby program had to offer.

IN HIS WORDS: "I'm still committed [to Nebraska], but Colorado did a great job," Domann told Rivals.com. "Their pitch was that I can play on either side of the ball and play early.
"I don't think there will be any more trips. Coach (Mike) Riley will be taking his in-home visit to see me soon."
WHAT'S NEXT?: Domann, the Gatorade state player of the year in Colorado, underwent shoulder surgery recently and said he would not be able to participate in the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl. California was another program that had been pushing for a visit but Domann said he didn't anticipate taking any more trips before National Signing Day, meaning the Cornhuskers should feel good about where they stand heading into the dead period.
